Backpack straps constantly slide

"There is a significant design flaw with the straps and buckles in that I constantly have to hold or pull on the straps to keep the backpack from sliding down my back. I see this issue in at least one other review below. After several weeks (greater than the 30 day return policy) and a handful of trips, the straps’ condition has steadily worsened as they have gotten slicker. I will be taking to a repair shop. If not fixed, I will be looking to donate the bag. It is that bad and frustrating… a waste of money at this point. I was a big fan of Briggs and Riley, not anymore."

Great travel backpack

"We travel a fair amount in retirement and I was using another backpack but was looking to maximize my carry-on space and looked around at several alternatives. I have several B&R pieces about was willing to do another brand if it suited my needs. I was able to see one in a store and thought it was as good or better than others I had seen. After receiving my backpack and getting ready for our next trip this backpack is excellent. I've gained space and find the usability great for the chaos of going through airport security. The size is a minor issue since I realize it will be a struggle under some airplane seats but I don't anticipate it being a deal breaker."

Don’t buy if you don’t have wide shoulders!

"I was so excited for this bag - it’s a great color and has so much storage. However I took it on its first trip and quickly discovered this is the most uncomfortable bag I have ever owned. It is simply not designed with women in mind. The straps are so wide and unyielding that they constantly dig in to your arms. I’m saddened to learn that Briggs and Riley will only allow returns for unused merchandise. This was such an expensive bag and I will never use it again. I’m bruised and fuming."

"I love this bag's design. It is the first bag that has the versatility I need in NYC to work, play, and gym with one bag. No going home! No multiple bags! No disappointing tradeoffs of what to take or leave for the day. Expand the bag if necessary. There is an issue, however. Maybe I have a lemon, as I don't see this in other reviews. My straps slip as I'm walking. This happens especially when the bag is heavy. I am constantly pulling on the straps to re-tighten across my shoulders. Am I doing something wrong?"
